Sophia joined Active International in February 2014 to take on all marketing communication activity for the company.

A passionate marketer who has spent the last 15 years working in the media industry across a number of national and global executive roles, Sophia has always found a way to explore and implement new strategies in the marketing and corporate communications field.

A postgraduate and passionate for all things marketing, highly motivated, and results driven, Sophia has a number of success stories to tell. Sophia holds a Bachelor and Master degree in Social Sciences, Research and Marketing.

Kylie is a passionate and hardworking HR professional with over 17 years’ experience working across a broad number of industries both within Australia and Internationally.

Kylie’s HR approach is solution focused and innovative and brings to Active a vast experience in HR, Recruitment, Project Management and Training.

Background

Christelle joined Active Australia’s finance team late 2010. She completed a Bachelor of Business & Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Western Sydney in 2009 and has recently advanced to CPA status.

Christelle’s role as Finance Manager encompasses working closely with the Head of Finance, providing necessary analyses to aid the decision making process.

Paul, a chartered management accountant, came to Active Australia in 2020 from our UK office to take up the role of Finance Manager.

Shad joined Active in early 2016 to take on the role of Business Development bringing to the team his exceptional account, business development and customer service experience.

With solid business acumen and competitive analysis skills, Shad focuses on designing and implementing strategic plans to drive business, productivity and performance through continuous collaboration.

Shad has a degree in Business and Marketing and enjoys travelling to exotic places with Hawaii as his favourite destination. In November 2018 Shad was promoted to New Business Development Manager.

David joined Active in January 2023 as a Commercial Operations graduate. He graduated from UTS in October 2022 with a Business degree majoring in Business Law and Marketing. David is a self-motivated, adaptable and driven individual who brings over 4 years of customer service experience from previous employment in hospitality and retail.

Sean started at Active in March 2018 following a busy career in CFO / Finance Director roles across many large multinational and local company environments in Advertising, Media, Digital, Marketing and Communication industries.

Sean is heading the financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to local and international management. Sean works closely with various departments regarding monthly finance targets and ensuringsmooth and accurate financial reporting to management.

Ishfaq joined Active Australia’s finance team in January 2014 bringing an extensive experience of work within the insurance sector overseas. He is an economics graduate who has worked within the multiple facets of the financial industry.

Cameron Baxter joined Active International in 2014, following two decades working in sales roles and client categories such as FMCG and Liquor.

Cameron’s sales experience spans across metro TV, regional TV, cinema and Out-of-Home, undertaking sales executive roles such as Group Sales Manager, National Sales Director, GM and most recently Chief Operating Officer of Titan Media Group.

Based in our Melbourne office, Cameron is focused on developing corporate trade in Australia, establishing and expanding our strong client base as well as our media agency relationships that are already set in Melbourne.

Specialised in customer/ client service and operations with 7+ years of experience, Pooja has worked at an entertainment and tech companies that includes Hasbro, Edge-Village Roadshow, Officeworks and ReadiNow.

Working with the Active team to deliver the highest of standards in the very important area of Commercial Operations and Customer Success.

Sinead joined Active International in 2021 as an Account Manager within the Media team. She brings five years’ experience in the media corporate trading, previously working on behalf of both corporate trade companies and top tier agencies across the UK and Australia. Sinead’s focus is to use her commercial acumen and strong networking skills to nurture and expand Active’s relationships with both agencies and media owners

Chris joined Active with over 15 years experience in media across both the agency side and in digital advertising technology. Having worked at multinational and independent media agencies in the UK and Australia, Chris leads the digital operations at Active to best support our clients in navigating an increasingly complex market whilst drive increased value and results.

His experience and media relationships within the Australian digital market allow for increased collaboration and greater opportunities to be developed.

Andrea graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting in 2016 and is currently completing towards her CPA status. Also completed a Certificate III & IV in Fitness in 2018.

Joel joined Active in 2023 with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Psychology degree, showcasing his commitment to business and understanding human behaviour. With experience in healthcare, hospitality, and marketing, he possesses a versatile skill set and strong problem-solving abilities.
